The memorial consists of a framed parchment with the following thereon
There is the figure of a soldier kneeling before a crucified Christ,
on the top there are the words RUMOURS OF WAR
on the side to the right are the words SEE THAT YE BE NOT TROUBLED
,
on the side to the left are the words AND YOU SHALL HEAR OF WARS
beneath is the following:

OF YOUR CHARITY PRAY FOR THE SOULS OF THE GALLANT DEAD Who served in the great war 1914-1918

Located at the road side on B4196 at the junction with School Lane
The memorial is constructed from stone and consists of a cross atop a pillar
set in a square block on 2 steps
All lettering is in in white

On the side facing the road:
