A story in the Evesham Journal (31 May 2001), about skateboarders having damaged one of the paving slabs on the base of the memorial, mentions that in 2000 the parish council had added four names to the memorial which had been previously omitted. There is now an additional bronze plate on the base of the memorial, which reads:

Note:
Thomas William MILLWARD was born in Bewdley, and employed as a clerk for the GWR in Bidford on Avon at the time of his enlistment: he is also listed on the Bewdley memorial
