The memorial is a cross on an octagonal base in the churchyard, but of a slightly unusual design. Most such memorials have the base as an octagonal prism, taller than it is wide, with the names listed on the rectangular vertical faces. The octagonal base of this memorial, however, is very broad compared to its height, and the names are inscribed on the table-like upper surface, in columns radiating out from the centre. This has had the disadvantage that there has been some weathering of the lettering. I've done my best to decipher the dubious lettering:

There are plans by parishioners to have this memorial restored in the near future, so with any luck a better listing will be available by the end of this year.
