A brass plate on the wall in the church:
| Son of Mr & Mrs John Morris of Manor Farm, South Littleton. He was a sick-berth steward, and had been in the Navy for fourteen years. Three of his brothers attended the funeral at Whitby: Martin Morris of Wick, Richard Morris of Bricklehampton, and John Morris of Bennetts Hill.
